Homosexuals in Italy, but at what point we are after 40 years? National demonstration
In 2010 we will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the homosexual movement in Italy. What has changed since then? We can be satisfied, we can say we feel better? We can say that the country and the Italians have really changed their perceptions and their views on homosexuality and gay people?
I do not know, but I'm not too optimistic.
When still in Italy we can say that homosexuals are sick, if members of an organization that still represents millions of citizens and should lead you to indicate that child abuse is closely linked to homosexuality, however, if the Most Italians do not think that is right for homosexual couples can have a civil wedding, then we can not be optimistic.
And who is to blame for all this? I am tired, really tired, to feel again that the fault of the church in Italy that we have sought, and balls of this type. Of course, we have sought in Italy, but Spain, Opus Dei (which is perhaps even worse than the Church), but a right-wing government passed a law recognizing civil unions between same-sex couples (only after the head the leftist government has approved the legal marriage between same sex). So powerful clerical institutions can no longer be an excuse to hide the failure of the gay movement, or to be more politically LGBT correct.
Perhaps, after 40 years, is once again time to be all new, active but not only in the "BIG EVENT".
The major events that I leave at the end really make any difference, only serve as a hot pannicello us feel better, make us seem to be a civilized, secular, just because the people are smiling and clapping when we ride during Pride? Balls.
We must go back to being active every day, to establish ourselves as a people, to be visible, to be identified to work with colleagues, with the neighbors, with fellow sports, because only the real knowledge, with the ' EDUCATION we hope to be undesirable end, but understood and included as individuals and couples like all the others.
I saw a commercial for a video that will be presented during the upcoming gay film festival "From Sodom to Hollywood" from the title, perhaps unwittingly, typical: "Feever! Want to be gay on Sunday (I want to be Gay on Sunday)." Here, we must start dall'apporccio exactly the opposite:
"I want to be gay all day."
Why is our life and we can not have him snatch.
